Aswan University Hospitals receives a delegation from the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority in Luxor to conclude a contract between the two sides

         Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman _ Aswan University President _ declared that preparations are being made to implement the comprehensive health insurance system in Aswan Governorate, within the governorates of the first phase, in implementation of the directives of President. Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi – President of the Republic – as the Egyptian state works to make every citizen the right to insurance. The comprehensive health system, in light of the wise vision and strong will, which contributed to the implementation of this system aimed at improving health services provided to citizens in line with the goals of sustainable development goals. The Egyptian state is keen to complete the ongoing projects, especially with the preparation to launch the comprehensive health insurance system in the governorates of southern Upper Egypt. Cooperation between the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority for the health system and the new Specialized internal medicine Hospital at the university has already been activated, and in this context and under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Dr. Mohamed Zaki El Dahshoury – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals – received the delegation of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority in Luxor, in attendance of Dr. Ashraf Mebed – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals – to discuss ways of cooperation between the Authority and Aswan University Hospitals, and the comprehensive health Insurance Authority delegation included Dr. Mohamed Soliman, Dr. Hatem Mohamed and the rest of the accompanying delegation.

        Dr. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury added that the comprehensive health insurance system is an unprecedented medical and therapeutic boom in the era of the new republic, which works to cover all segments of society in providing treatment in a distinctive way. He also indicated that during meeting, ways of fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Authority and Aswan University Hospitals were discussed by concluding a contract between the two sides to provide distinguished medical service to patients in Luxor.

       Dr. Ahmed Omar – Director of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority branch in Luxor – confirmed that the Health Insurance Authority pays great attention to the patient and considers him the main axis of the components of the health service, as it focuses on patient care, and includes respecting his needs and preferences, providing psychological support and the necessary physical comfort for him, in addition to providing information, and his participation in his treatment decisions so that the service reaches those who deserve it.

       Dr.  Ashraf Mebed stated that the delegation of the Health Insurance Authority in Luxor had toured the hospitals of Aswan University, which include the New Specialized internal medicine Hospital, Aswan University Hospital, the outpatient clinics building, the reception and emergency hospital, and the orthopedic hospital, which work is still in full swing in preparation for their entry into service. medical.

     The delegation of the Health Insurance Authority in Luxor also praised the infrastructure and modern medical equipment that Aswan University hospitals have achieved, which may not be available in other university hospitals.
