In the frame of the directives of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – Aswan University President – for daily follow-up the second-semester exams for university faculties; Today, Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat – Vice President of Aswan University for Education and Student Affairs – made an inspection tour to follow up the examination work in Faculty of Science, which takes place under the supervision of Dr. Abo Al-Hamd Hassan Mohamed – Acting Dean of the faculty – accompanied by Dr. Alaa Hassan Nour El-Din – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs – to check on the examinations, which are performed by Faculty students at the level of the four Batches, amid strict procedures to prevent cheating.
Dr. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat declared that the examination work is proceeding in a suitable way for all students, with the application of all administrative procedures regulating the work of the second-semester exams for the academic year 2022/2023, which limit the phenomenon of cheating, while harnessing all the capabilities of the Faculty for exam works from Air-conditioned halls, the presence of medical staff and a sufficient number of employees and workers to provide the best services and amenities for students.
Dr. Alaa Hassan added that the Faculty has prepared for the second-semester exams, which began on Thursday,1st June 2023, and will end on Thursday, 22nd June 2023. Examinations are held in the classrooms building, which contains 8 committees, Dr. Ramadan and Al-Salam auditorium. Faculty of Science also includes 6 departments: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, Botany, and Zoology. The Faculty has a number of educational programs, namely: Mathematics, Computer, and Physics. Geology, geophysics, geochemistry, chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Zoology chemistry, Botany chemistry, and microbiological chemistry.
The Faculty is working on accrediting the regulation of credit hours, and there will be a number of distinguished programs that link study and the labor market.
