Aswan University, headed by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Aswan university President_ and in attendance of Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Mehalal_ Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research_ and a scientific delegation of university scientists participated in the activities and events of Egyptian public universities to confront climate change. Which is held under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed Ashour – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr. Ayman Othman stressed the importance of the university’s participation in this forum, which is held entitled “Events of Egyptian Universities to Confront Climate Changes.” This in frame of universities’ contribution in the international conference that Egypt will host next November, with the participation of the countries of the world under auspices of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi_ President of the Republic_ in order to present scientific research in the same field, which will have the most effective impact in addressing climate change.
Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz Mehalal_ added that the university is participating in a scientific exhibition and a delegation of university scientists who have won first international scientific places in international rankings recently, with the aim of contributing scientific research in various disciplines to this international event in the Climate Change Conference. This forum was witnessed by many Egyptian university presidents, to achieve the National Climate Change Strategy 2050, in order to preserve the rights of future generations.
