Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed – president of Aswan University and Dr. Hanna Grace Kaldas – Chairman of the Board of Directors of one of the companies specialized in entrepreneurship signed an agreement of understanding to start implementing the Nile Pioneers initiative, which aims to support entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises and enhance the production of local products.
Whereas, “Ghellab” stated that the agreement aims to implement multiple activities in the field of entrepreneurship to open new horizons for university students and graduates and to propose ideas for new projects in addition to developing the capabilities of owners of existing projects.
Dr. Yasser Abdel Hamid Diab, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Aswan University, added that the Nile Pioneers initiative will allow the opening of a permanent center for entrepreneurship at Aswan University and includes the implementation of many seminars and workshops for students and graduates in the field of small and medium enterprises by a group of experts and specialists, and the initiative will continue for three years.
