Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshouri_ Former Dean of Faculty of Medicine_ Aswan University_ stated that the medical convoy completed its work in Tanzania, which began during the period from 25/8 to 1/9/2023 under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Aswan University President_ whereas the convoy was able in its fourth consecutive season, it performs approximately 55 surgeries for cases of urinary tract defects in children.
Prof. Al-Dahshouri added that the number of cases of urology surgeries performed on adults reached 35 surgeries for patients with urinary tract malformations in Tanzania. Dr. Ahmed Salah, a urology lecturer at Faculty of Medicine at Aswan University, also participated in the convoy.
Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshouri explained that the Urology Department at Aswan Medicine participated in the medical convoy in Zanzibar over the course of a week, and the number of cases that were examined reached 300 cases of patients with urinary tract abnormalities. An elite group of Egyptian Arab university professors from the universities of Sohag and Assiut, the universities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait also participated in the convoy.
