Abdel Qader Abdallah, to discuss ways of cooperation between Aswan University Hospitals and treatment institutions in northern Sudan
For his part, Prof. Ayman Othman_ Aswan University president_ said that Aswan University Hospitals are sparing no effort in receiving all medical cases from brotherly Sudan, and this comes within the framework of the strategic, national and pioneering role of the Egyptian state under the leadership of President. The Sudanese ambassador praised the health and medical role of Aswan University Hospitals, which provide its medical service to the displaced brothers from brotherly Sudan in various specialties.
He stressed that the Egyptian-Sudanese relations are extended and strong in the aspects of interdependence and cooperation between the two countries despite the challenges facing Sudan, as the Egyptian role contributed to reducing negative regional interference, and the direction of the, President. Prof. Mohamed Salah_ Acting Executive Director of the University Hospitals in Aswan, explained that the meeting included discussing how to send medical convoys in various specialties to the brotherly country of Sudan, and that the university hospitals provided treatment for all Sudanese patients in the various medical departments of the university hospital in the departments of orthopedic, internal medicine, pediatrics and ophthalmology, General surgery, and other medical departments.
The General Surgery Department performed many major and delicate operations for critical cases that cannot tolerate delay, explaining that this is our role towards our Sudanese brothers in light of the crisis that brotherly Sudan is experiencing.
A delegation of members of the House of Representatives also visited the University Hospital to discuss a number of health issues of interest to the Aswan citizen and to congratulate Dr. Mohamed Salah for assuming responsibility.
