Coordination Meeting in Aswan University for Holding International Conference about Biodiversity in Nasser Lake In Next February

Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed –Aswan University President headed the coordination meeting as a preparation for the international meeting of biological variety and its management in Lake Nasser and its relation with the Egyptian security that is going to be held in the next February.
By the attendance of Dr. Imam Abdul Ghani Ahmed, Dr. Osama Mohamed Mahmoud-Professor of Faculty of Fisher Technology, Dr.Ahmed Hamad Abdullah –Professor of Invertebrates and the environment, Prof.Majdi Mohammed Ali-Dean of Faculty of Fisher Technology in Aswan University, Eng. Hussin Jalal-Head of the general organization of High Dam and Aswan Dam, Eng. Khaled Hassanein-Head of the Fisheries Authority in Aswan, and a number of academic staff in Aswan University.
Ghallab declared the conference will include a lot of important subjects as the ecosystem In Nasser Lake and the adjacent area and the effects of weather changes on it, the coastal agriculture around it and its importance and its environmental effect, food web of the lake in the main watercourse and marshes, hatching and Fish farming and its role of maintain the fish inventory of the lake.
He added the subjects of the conference also includes spotlight on the future of Tushika lakes as fisheries and develop around it , Biodiversity of invertebrates and vertebrates in different ecosystems, the role of the international organizations in the development of Nasser Lake and biological maintenance for it, the rating of the fish inventory and biomass of inventory and another animals.
He pointed to the conference also discusses important subjects related to the ratting of the crocodile inventory in Nasser Lake and its effect on the fisheries and crocodile farm in Egypt in the light of maintain its natural stocking in the lake , humanity development and the psychological and social studies of fishers about the lake, the role of the media and the educational organizations in the management of biodiversity and publish its culture in the society and the continued development of river tourism in Nasser Lake in the light of the biological maintain of organisms.
