Prof.Ayman Othman – Vice President for High Studies and Research confirmed that the infrastructure of scientific search in the university witnessed a big development in the last period through buying a several of modern scientific devices and supporting labs in the different faculties according to the instructions of prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed –Aswan University President.
He added Aswan University has become among the best 300 universities on the level of the world according to British Times rating in sustainable development according to the big importance of the international rating that is managed by the university administration, where a specialized team is formed for connecting with academic staff and concerned organizations of rating according to encourage the academic staff on scientific publishing in the specialized and rated scientific fields, also holding workshops and different conferences in all scientific fields.
Othman declared several of protocols cooperation are held with the foreign universities in each of the following countries (Spain –Italy-Germany– Austria- Poland) for increasing the exchange of students and academic staff between Aswan University and European Universities and knowing the modernist point in the scientific domain on the level of the world.
He pointed to high graduates sector in the university receives very high turnout and at the present time includes 5000 students in the stages of (Diploma-Masters-PhD) in all faculties of the university and this is including register the research point for them and review the results and announce it according to the organized regulations of each faculty , also a number of Arabic delegated students are attracted for studying in the faculties of (Physical Education-Law-Institute of African Research and Studies-Education-Engineering).
He said all libraries in the faculties are permanently supported in addition to the digital library and the continued cooperation with Egyptian Knowledge Bank where the accounts have created for each academic staff in the university and the high graduate studies students in order to have the ability for accessing to all references, and there is a suggestion for the creation central library in the headquarter of the university in Sahari.
