Holding the council of Education and Student Affairs No.132

the council of Education and Student Affairs at Aswan University was held under the presidency of Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, and attended by the vice deans for education and student affairs, as well as the members of the council, including the Director of Education and Student Affairs, and the Secretary of the Council.

During the meeting, Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat emphasized the importance of maintaining the continuity of studies until the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday. He noted that classes will resume after the holiday, according to the approved schedule for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

Prof. Nasrat also mentioned that the council discussed ways to cooperate with Hungarian universities to facilitate the exchange of students, Academic staff, and their assistants in various scientific disciplines, as well as to promote the exchange of expertise. Additionally, the council reviewed sample exam questions for students with special needs, in line with the recommendations of the Supreme Council of Universities, while considering the start date for the final exams in the university’s faculties. The goal is to complete the review and approval of results and award degrees before the end of July 2025, ensuring that students can be recruited according to their scheduled timelines for the sake of their future.

The council also discussed various topics of importance to students, including the development of educational programs to meet student needs and the demands of the job market. Prof. Nasrat explained that the university is working on implementing a plan for student activities during the academic year, which will contribute to providing a competitive learning environment for students in different fields.

Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat further highlighted the university’s commitment to continuously developing student activities and offering distinguished educational programs that address students’ needs in various specializations. This, enhances the university’s role in developing students’ skills and honing their creative talents.

The university president also expressed his appreciation for all Academic staff, their assistants, and the council members for their continuous efforts to support the educational process at Aswan University.
