Aswan University President receives Youth Delegation of People of Determination from Youth Train Trips

Today, Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, received a youth delegation of people of determination and individuals with special needs from various governorates, as part of the “Youth Train” trips. The delegation consists of 70 young men and women participating in a youth trip to Aswan Governorate, organized by several civil society organizations.

Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, Aswan University President, stated that in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s interest in people of determination and the state’s efforts to provide all forms of support to ensure their integration into society, the university provided buses to transport the participants from Aswan Railway Station to the Youth City in Aswan. Transportation will also be made available throughout Friday and Saturday until their return to Aswan Railway Station and their journey back to Luxor Governorate to complete the rest of their visit program.

Aswan University’s participation comes in collaboration with a number of governmental institutions and concerned authorities, including the Railway Authority, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministries of Water Resources and Electricity. This effort is part of the presidential initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi entitled “A New Beginning to Build the Egyptian Human Being.”

Nagaat Salem, Secretary-General of the Women’s Committee in Menoufia, and Thuraya Abdoun in Aswan, explained that this trip aims to create a new environment of coexistence for individuals with special needs, support and assist them, and help introduce them to the tourist attractions in Aswan Governorate. The trip includes visits to the High Dam, the Friendship Monument, Philae Temple, the Nile Museum, the tourist village of Gharb Sohail, and several other tourist destinations in Aswan Governorate.
