Aswan University president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab ordered to cut 20% of the academic staff’s salaries for Tahya Misr Fund as a response to President Sisi’s initiative to support the irregular employment.
Prof. Ghallab confirmed that the university’s action is reflecting its commitment in serving the community and a proof of its mission as an active governmental institution in this exceptional status. The cuts will be implemented from May 2020 till 3 months later.
At another level, today Pof. Ghallab witnessed naming the governmental languages school in Sahary after the martyr Amr Farid Abd Al Zaher in the presence of the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the head of Aswan military sector Brigadier General Amr Abd Al Fattah, the Brigadier General Allaa Ramaah, the leader of the border guard Colonel Osama Khalil, the director of the secondary education in the the education directorate Mr. Abd Al Kareem Lotfy as well as the director of education directorate Mr. Gamal Hussin.
In this context Prof. Ghallb confirmed the elevated place of the martyr who defends our country and confronts terrorism, he outlined that Aswan university is preparing a banner with the name of the martyr Amr Farid Abd Al Zaher. Dr. Fayoumy praised Aswan university for its ongoing efforts in memorizing the name of the martyr especially that he is a son of one the university deans Prof. Farid Abd Al Zaher the dean of the faculty of Dar Al Uloom.
