The unit has issued Aswan University Journal of Environmental Studies on the university’s website. The first issue was issued in October (2020), and the second issue will be issued in December (2020). The journal is concerned with publishing environment research in all its fields, especially research in the field of changing the field (first issue).

1. The unit, through its contract with the companies of the solar energy project in Banban – Aswan Governorate, made environmental measurements for the project area (sound intensity – polluting gases – air dust – moisture and heat – suspended dust) and these measurements are related to climate change.
2. The unit, through its contract, carried out environmental measurements for the Arab Contractors Company – South Valley Branch (Aswan – Luxor – Qena), which include measuring (sound intensity – polluting gases – thermal stress – suspended dust – temperature and humidity).
3. The unit conducts chemical analyses of wells water for governmental and private partnerships to determine its suitability for agriculture.
4. The board conducts many chemical and physical analyses of agricultural soils – ores of mines and quarries – plants and agricultural crops – drinking water and sanitation for partnerships, authorities and individuals.
5. The unit participates in raising environmental awareness and preserving the environment through lectures, symposiums and workshops inside and outside the university
