– Aswan University provides an “integrated services card for people with disabilities” through the “Social Solidarity Unit” at the university affiliated to the Ministry of Social Solidarity. Providing sign language interpreters for students with hearing disabilities at the Faculty of Specific Education.
– Aswan University has established a laboratory for the blind at the Faculty of Arts, where the work provides some services to blind students, namely:
1- Providing ten devices and a Braille printer
2- Printing the curriculum for students in Braille
3- Providing talking computers and providing audio and recorded books
4- Providing assistance in the required research and guiding them during the study process
5- Assisting new students in coordination and submission
6- Enabling the student to use a computer or laptop, which suits his needs, and to run screen reader programs, whether on the phone or the device of the blind student.
-Transferring the university to some online lectures for students with special needs
– Facilitating the organization of examination committees on the ground floor and identifying special committees when necessary
-The university provides exam facilities for visually impaired students by printing question papers on (A3) paper.
