University cities are considered one of the most important sectors of care for university students, whether it is care (social, health, scientific, cultural or sports), as it provides an integrated university life for its students, especially students who are expatriate from their families.
It is the appropriate and appropriate social environment for the university student. It takes care first of the scientifically superior student, then the expatriate student. In addition to providing full support to serve students with special needs, it was decided to allocate places in the first floors in the buildings of the university cities for them, and also provides services, whether health or social, and that Within the limits of a certain percentage to support healthy values in general, 24 hours a day. In addition, there is an integrated diet for all students residing in cities, through which the three meals are served and then placed according to the needs of students at this age group with the knowledge of professors specialized in nutrition at the university. It provides students residing there with integrated care (accommodation – nutrition – activities programs – sports – social – artistic) to fill their spare time. Based on the text of Article No. 3 of Chapter Four of the Regulations for Accommodation in University Dormitories: The admission of students is differentiated according to the following bases:
For new students, the comparison is made between them on the basis of the youngest and then the distance from the place of residence to the Aswan Center
For old students, students residing in university cities for the previous year are accepted, starting with a very good rating, then non-residents in the university city with an excellent rating, then dropping the grade if places are available, and the comparison is made in the same grade in percentages of the total
Based on the available places, we will start the housing from an excellent assessment for students who live in the city the previous year, and go down with the assessment if places are available.
Services provided to students from university cities (accommodation – nutrition – educational services – recreational services – student activities)
The General Administration of University Cities and Nutrition works 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as it takes full care of expatriate students and provides them with accommodation and subsistence, in addition to recreational programs and student activities, whether social, sports or cultural, which it prepares The competent bodies in the university cities, in which the effective role of the services sector in the university is completed in the care and support of the educational process
It provides students with full board and meals during the day, for a monthly fee of 350 pounds
In addition to providing internet service in the buildings from internet halls or free Wi-Fi
Implementation of a student activity plan throughout the academic year, including recreational and scientific trips and cultural seminars for some contemporary matters (Covid 19 pandemic – Health for All campaign – and others)

The cost of accommodation and food for one student per month is about two thousand pounds, of which the student bears three hundred and fifty pounds per month in exchange for accommodation and food.
The cost of student activities carried out for university city students during the academic year:
The cost of student activities is about forty thousand pounds – the student bears a contribution from him in the activity of external trips only, a percentage ranging from 30% to 50% of the cost of the trip and the rest of the activities without a student contribution and borne by the university.
