Minister of Higher Education headed the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities at Aswan University

          The Supreme Council of Universities held its periodic meeting, headed by Dr. Ayman Ashour_ Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research_ and in attendance of Dr. Mostafa Refaat_ Secretary of the Council and the Council members, at the headquarters of Aswan University.

        The Council thanked Aswan University Staff, headed by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Aswan University president for hosting the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities.

         The Minister of Higher Education thanked the Academic staff, their assistants, and the administrative staff at the universities for their complete discipline in organizing the first semester exams for the academic year 2023-2024.

         The Minister directed that the control work should be completed quickly and the results should be announced to students as quickly as required, to enable them to register for academic courses at the beginning of the second semester in all Faculties, especially those that work with the credit hours system.

            Dr. Ayman Ashour also directed the necessity of completing all maintenance work in universities and university Hostels during the mid-year vacation, and ensuring the availability of safety and occupational safety standards in all university buildings and facilities, to ensure the safety of all members of the academic community, within the framework of universities’ preparation for the beginning of studies in the second Semester.

             The Council listened to a report on the most prominent activities of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research during January, foremost of which was the meeting of the Minister of Higher Education with President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi_ President of the Republic_ in attendance of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly_ Prime Minister. The meeting discussed the state’s efforts to develop higher education facilities in Egypt.
