
Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, followed up on the military education training course held at Faculty of Engineering at Aswan University during the mid-year vacation. He was accompanied by Lieutenant. Ahmed Hattata, and together they listened to a detailed explanation about the course content and the objectives it aims to achieve.
The military education course includes both theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part covers various lectures on topics such as types of weapons and military ranks, while the practical part involves exercises including flag salutes, marching in place, and learning how to perform military salutes correctly. These subjects are taught by specialists from the Armed Forces, who provide students with comprehensive knowledge about the principles and foundations of military life.
Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of Aswan University, stated that military education aims to foster a sense of belonging and loyalty to the homeland among students, while also preparing them physically and mentally to be capable of engaging in national service during their Recruitment stages. He added that the course helps students adapt to military life early on, which in turn enhances their self-discipline and commitment.
The course is supervised by Lieutenant Ahmed Fouad Hattata, Director of Military Education at Aswan University, and Hamada Mohamed, Supervisor of Military Education. The course seeks to achieve important goals beyond military training, such as educating students about the developmental role of the Armed Forces in advancing national development and supporting the national economy. It also highlights the significant efforts made by the Armed Forces in handling crises and disasters. This course is considered an important step in preparing a generation of students who are capable of taking on responsibilities, adhering to national values, and contributing effectively to serving the country.
