Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, attended the “Student Activity Leaders Competition” ceremony in its fourth edition, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event was attended by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with several ministers, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, university presidents, and the Governor of Cairo, at the Greek Campus in Tahrir, whereas the winners from various participating universities were announced.
Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat explained that this ceremony is held to honor the winners in the “Egyptian Student Building Celebration”, which is one of the results of implementing strategies aimed at developing the Egyptian individual. This initiative aligns with the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030. He pointed out that this strategy has become an essential part of the government program to achieve this vision and continues the concept of integration as one of the principles of the Ministry of Higher Education’s strategy, emphasizing cooperation between various state institutions to serve the nation and its citizens.
Prof. Loai added that the “Student Activity Leaders Competition” in its fourth edition is the result of a close collaboration between the Young Leaders Foundation (YLF) and the Ministry of Higher Education to support the development of the Egyptian student. Preparation for this competition took nearly a year and a half, with participation from 48 Egyptian universities and approximately 611 student activities coordinated among different universities. The competition resulted in the selection of the best 100 student activities, which were showcased at this distinguished event attended by state leaders from various ministries involved in human development, as part of the presidential initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
