Team of the unit of physiological train at Aswan University organized workshop in School in New Aswan City for Physiologists

Today, the Training, Psychological Counseling and Human Development Unit team at Aswan University, under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, and through the university’s plan for community participation, visited the New Aswan Distinguished Language School at the invitation of Dr. Safaa Abdel Hamid to hold a workshop for the school’s psychologists and social workers and discuss the problems they face inside the school and methods of confronting bullying and aggression among students and methods of behavior modification.
Dr. Medhat Altaf said that he began the meeting with the school principal and welcomed the professor, the university president and the representatives, and welcomed them to provide the university’s services through the university’s plan for community participation. The problems facing the specialists were also identified to develop a treatment plan to solve them.
Dr. Fatima Al-Zahraa Mohamed Hassan added that the workshop dealt with the concepts of aggressive behavior and bullying, the causes leading to it, its theories, and methods of confronting and treating it.
Dr. Zainab Mohamed explained that the workshop included training specialists on behavior modification methods, confronting bullying and aggressive behavior, and educating parents on sound social and family upbringing methods, developing moral values ​​and tolerance among them that help them overcome violence, aggression and bullying among their children. It was also agreed with the school administration and specialists to follow up on the cases of the most bullying and aggressive students. At the end of the visit, the school principal thanked the university president, the deputies, and the university’s training and psychological counseling unit team for their good cooperation with the school and accepting the invitation to visit the school
