Tripartite Cooperation Protocol between Egyptian University Sports Federation, Aswan University, and Aswan Governorate

Aswan University signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Egyptian University Sports Federation and the Aswan Governorate, as part of the political leadership’s interest in human development and the Egyptian personality, in line with His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s vision, and in support of the New Beginning Initiative. This coincides with the commencement of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s 100 Days of Sports initiative, which began yesterday at Aswan University.

Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, stated that the protocol was signed on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the 100 Days of Sports Initiative, which was held at Marshal Tantawi Hall. He explained that the protocol is a fruitful cooperation between three parties:

1-The Egyptian University Sports Federation, represented by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and President of the Federation, and on his behalf by Dr. Mustafa Bayoumi, Assistant Minister for Student Life and Sustainable Development and Vice President of the Federation.
2-Aswan University, represented by Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nasrat.
3-Aswan Governorate, represented by Eng. Amr Lashin, Deputy Governor of Aswan.

The three parties agreed to promote sports and enhance physical activity levels at Aswan University and in the surrounding community, which will help to improve public health. Student activities and sporting events will be held throughout the academic year as part of Aswan’s 100 Days of Sports initiative.

Dr.Mustafa Bayoumi confirmed that the protocol includes several axes of joint cooperation, the most distinguished of them:

1- Organized 100 sports days at Aswan University and Aswan Governorate, with active participation from the Faculty of Physical Education.

2-Encouraging sports exercise for students in universities and local communities to increase physical activity and prevent against various diseases.

3-Providing a social setting encourages favorable connections among participants, which helps to build personal and social abilities.

4-Enhancing the high principles that Egyptian citizens must uphold, particularly in light of the obstacles that youth and university students encounter.

The protocol aims to create a sports and cultural system that helps students improve their skills and talents, with an emphasis on promoting human development through innovative initiatives that benefit people and society.
