Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat_ Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, met with Mr. Al-Husseini Abdel-Rahim, Chief Human Resources Specialist at Ministry of Higher Education, in attendance of Dr. Sally Al-Hariri, to discuss the possibility of establishing a human rights unit at Aswan University under patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and scientific Research, and Dr. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan University President.
Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen said that within the framework of the directives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Supreme Council of Universities to establish human rights units, Aswan University is working to establish a human rights unit at the university’s headquarters in Sahari, and it is formed from members from the university who represent the various groups of the university community. The goal of establishing the unit is Spreading the principles of justice and equality among others, giving everyone their due rights, and working within the framework of transparency, integrity, clarity, and openness among university employees and civil society in Aswan, and spreading cognitive-behavioral awareness and respect for others for the sake of peaceful coexistence and raising the level of interaction between everyone.
