On the sidelines of the first Egyptian Afro-Arab championship that is held in Aswan university 27th -29th Jan. 2019, the faculty of physical education has signed an agreement with Egyptian Darts Federation for promoting research and scientific studies in this game in order to spread it in Upper Egypt. The agreement was witnessed by Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, the head of Egyptian Darts Federation Dr. Yehia Abd Al Hafez, the dean of the faculty of physical education Prof. Abd Al Rahman Abd Al Baset and the faculty of physical education’s vice dean of graduate studies and research Prof. Adel Meky. Prof. Ghallab stressed on the university’s keenness on collaborating with all sports institutions for spreading the different sports games among students and the local community. He added that the first Egyptian Afro-Arab championship includes different sports contests on Darts, Ergometer, and Kayak with the participation of students from 18 different Egyptian universities.
