
The University Council of Aswan for Education and Student Affairs, headed by Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, held its meeting No. (125) with the attendance of the Deans of University Faculties for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Kamel El-Rashidi, Prof. Abdalla Ahmed Ibrahim, and other council members. The meeting focused on various topics related to the educational process and the end-of-year results for the academic year 2023/2024.
Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat confirmed that the council approved the implementation of guidelines for accepting students with special needs and disabilities to their designated faculties for the academic year 2024/2025.
The council also approved the memorandum submitted by the Faculty of Science regarding the distinguished credit-hour programs offered by the Department of Geology, which include the Engineering and Environment Geology program and the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Geology program.
Additionally, the council discussed the regulations organizing student transfers and enrollments from and to the university’s faculties and institutes for the new academic year. Consequently, the council decided not to accept transfers and enrollments into the Faculty of Nursing from the Nursing Technical Institute, based on the recommendation of the Nursing Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities for the academic year 2024/2025.
The Vice President for Education and Student Affairs also instructed the Deans of University Faculties for Education and Student Affairs to promptly announce the results for final-year students to complete their military service procedures.
