Within the framework of fruitful and constructive cooperation between Aswan University and the governorate under the auspices of Major General. Ashraf Attia – Governor of Aswan – and Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – President of the University – in implementing the national project of Visual Vision on the land of Aswan, and effective participation in maximizing the role of Faculty of Archaeology in preserving heritage and developing society and the environment surrounding Aswan city.
On Wednesday, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman witnessed the activities of the exhibition of ancient technology methods organized by Faculty of Archaeology, Aswan University, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Nubia Museum in Aswan, through the display of products related to heritage and visual identity in Aswan Governorate in cooperation with the Nubia Museum, under the supervision of Dean of Faculty of Archaeology, Dr. Thanaa Abu Talib, and a number of Academic staff and assistants, through the participation of a number of Faculty students.
Prof. Ayman Othman added that the students of Faculty of Archaeology organized a Pharaonic procession to display some ancient Egyptian costumes and jewelry, which were executed by the students of Faculty of Archaeology, Restoration Department. This was attended by the Sudanese Ambassador, Dr. Ahmed Farman, Assistant Professor of Egyptian Antiquities at the Faculty and Advisor to Aswan Governorate for Tourism and Visual Identity Affairs, the Director of the Nubian Museum, and a group of people from the tourism and culture sector in Aswan.
