-Aswan University President Attends The Events of Obstetrics & Gynecology Department Congress
Aswan University participated in the advocacy campaign which has been executed for the third year in a row titled:” live it right 3″ aiming at modify young people and teenagers’ and misconceptions and disseminate volunteer culture in the society and create leaders to adopt the population issue and its related topics such as (family planning _sexual harassment _STD s “sexually transmitted diseases_Cancer_Addiction) and volunteering which is considered a main pillar of working inside the assembly .that was on last March.
10 field based symposiums and initiatives in different faculties and university dorms have been conducted and the training course of affirmative educating has been executed throughout four days for 25 students from various faculties.
The university provided transportation for the volunteers’ team of symposiums and initiatives which included volunteers of both sexes.
Within the framework of communication and cooperation between Aswan University and combating addiction and drug abuse authority to control this phenomenon and its bad impact on students, a number of symposiums and induction courses on the dangers of addiction and drug abuse and how to get clean and methods of treatment.
This protocol has been activated with a series of induction symposiums and training courses and advertising campaign inside the university and various faculties besides providing a headquarter for combating addiction and drug abuse authority inside the university.
A group of teaching staff members has participated in all the symposiums:
*Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil _ the university vice president for community service and environmental development.
*Prof. Mansour Mohamed Alsayed _ psychological health professor at the faculty of education.
*Prof. Khairy Ahmed Hasan _ psychological health professor at the faculty of education.
*Prof. Adel Mohamed Alsadek _ psychological health professor at the faculty of education.
